Bernard Lee -
    Character actor Bernard Lee played M throughout the Bond series until his death shortly after the release of Moonraker. He was born in 1908 into a show-business family and went to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before establishing himself in films and theatre and later TV. He was replaced as M by Robert Brown, beginning with Octopussy.

Lois Maxwell -
    Canadian actress Lois Maxwell, who was the longest-running member of the Bond cast, played Miss Moneypenny in all the Bond films until The Living Daylights. She began her acting career as a teenager, keeping her performances secret from her parents. She lied about her age in order to entertain the troops during the war and went to RADA afterwards. She entered films with That Hagen Girl, starring Shirley Temple and Ronald Reagan 
(she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Newcomer) but her best known part will always be in the Bond series. Caroline Bliss replaces Ms. Maxwell as Miss Moneypenny in The Living Daylights and continues with Licence To Kill.

Walter Gotell -
Walter Gotell, an actor of international repute, now regularly appears as the Russian General Gogol 
(promoted to the foreign service in The Living Daylights).

Desmond Llewelyn -
    Desmond Llewelyn has appeared in every Bond film except Dr. No and Live And Let Die. Born in Wales, he made his movie debut in a Will Hay film in 1939 and continued a steady career ever since. As Q, the eccentric inventor of the British Secret Service's gadgets, he has created perhaps his most memorable role. In Licence To Kill, he sees more action, finally going into the field along with Bond.

Geoffrey Keen - (not pictured)
    Now in his sixth Bond film, Geoffrey Keen plays the British Minister of Defense. Keen, another graduate of RADA, is a well known figure in British cinema with a career that has spanned nearly fifty years from Carol Reed's Odd Man Out to The Living Daylights.
